Serving

Each week, dedicated teams of people spend hours welcoming visitors, setting up, running great children’s meetings, leading CHF Groups and Bible Study, Training, rehearsing music and much, much more! There are many opportunities to get involved in the life of the church, and it’s a great way to meet people and make new friends too.

Welcome Team

We are looking for people who are smiley, friendly and chatty to greet guests when they first arrive, introduce them to others and make sure they find a seat!

Production Team

Calling all computer users and those with an interest in technology. We need you to help us setup and run the computers and sound equipment for the main service and then help clear it away afterwards. Full training will be given!

Worship Team

If you have a passion for worship and a musical talent we’d love you to get involved with our worship team.

Children's Church

Our various children groups work starts at 2pm following Praise & Worship (during the main service) with a variety of activities including worship, Bible stories, memory verses, prayer and lots of fun!

Caring Heart Fellowship

Our 'Caring Heart Fellowship' groups are run in various locations across the city and are the social and spiritual hub of our church community. Contact us if you would like to know more about leading a group

Hospitality

This team prepares and serve refreshments after the service and during all events

I want to encourage all of us to be involved in serving God, one another and those who are yet to join us. Get stuck in and play your part – bring your gift, passion and talents to what God is doing in KICC The Lighthouse. Jesus is building His church – let’s give Him something great to work with! This information should make it easy for you to volunteer to serve in KICC The Lighthouse. There is no set minimum requirement, but I would hope all of us could be on a serving team at least once a month
